Bond Announcement

The Falls City ISD Board of Trustees has called a bond election for November 2026 following several months of facility assessments, financial review, and long-range planning.

The bond election will include two propositions related to district facilities, equipment, and athletic infrastructure.

 

Proposition A - $7,500,000

  • Security vestibule

  • Classroom access wireless lock system

  • HVAC replacement

  • Technology improvements

  • Student transportation replacement

  • Additional parking

  • Additional capital improvements – as funding allows*

 

*Following completion of the priority projects identified above, remaining Proposition A funds, if available, may be used for the following additional campus improvements.

  • Covered drop-off/pick-up

  • Windscreen around playground and CTE

  • Concrete drainage improvements

  • Concrete flatwork improvements

  • Sidewalk from new campus to old school site

  • Concrete old school site parking lot entry off FM 791

  • Improve concrete and paving

  • West side fencing at main campus

  • Conference room expansion

  • Asphalt sealing/patching

 

Proposition B - $3,500,000

Propositions B includes funding for:

-Renovation of baseball field leased from Falls City

-Construction of new Softball field

Why did Falls City ISD Call a Bond?

The Falls City ISD Board of Trustees voted to accept the FCISD Facilities Improvement Committee's recommendation to call a bond totaling $11 million for the November 2026 election. This decision came after the Committee, comprised of community members, considered information related to future education objectives, safety and security, equity, and District finances.
